It is a busy time in Trondheim in the beginning of June, with Trondheim Rocks and Iron Maiden coming to town, and the Neon music festival, so we recommend to book hotel quickly!
From the hotels suggested you can either go by foot or take a taxi to the venue. The venue - Rockheim - is a 7 minutes walk from the train station. Scandic Bakklandet****
Close to the pitoresque "old town" streets with cafes and restaurants at Bakklandet and the river Nidelven. A 16 minutes’ walk to the EMRA venue at Rockheim or 4 minutes by taxi. 10 minutes’ walk from the train station and 6 minutes’ walk to the centre of Trondheim. Around 200 Euros per room - at the moment now in March, but the prices are evolving quickly.

Close to the pulsating area Solsiden (Sunny Side) with a wide selection of shops and restaurants. A 16 minutes’ walk to the EMRA venue at Rockheim or 3 minutes by taxi. 12 minutes’ walk from the train station and 10 minutes’ walk to the centre of Trondheim. Around 200 Euros per room - but the price is evolving quickly.

Britannia Hotel*****
Located in the city centre and Trondheim's high-end hotel. Britannia first opened in the 1870's and was totally restored and reopened in 2019. It is 15 minutes’ walk or 5 minutes taxi tour from the conference venue and 9 minutes’ walk from the train station. The hotel has several restaurants and bars, among them Speilsalen with a Michelin star, a French inspired brasserie, the cutlery restaurant Jonathan, and Palmehaven - both a lunch and restaurant venue.
